Michael Kurtjian, age 95, formerly of Lincoln Park, passed away October 3, 2021.

He was born on July 20, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Manoog and Martha Kurtjian.  Michael was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years Angeline, daughter Cheryl, sister Sue and brother Harry. He is survived by his daughter Michelle and son Dennis (Lorna) and three granddaughters, Catie (Zach), Sarah (Chris), and Laura (Dan) and great grandchildren Oliver, Margaret, and one more baby on the way, all of whom were the light of his life.  He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

Michael was a proud member of the US Navy, serving on the USS Altamaha during WWII.  Following his discharge, he joined the ranks of workers at the Cadillac Division of General Motors where he remained until his retirement.  In his later years, Michael's greatest joy was spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.   A private committal service will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
