GUGINS, MICHAEL WILLIAM, age 64 of Waterford, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022. He was born on August 11, 1957 in Detroit to parents Charles and Donna (Franzel) Gugins. Michael proudly served as a medic in the US Navy aboard the White Plains ship until his retirement in 1986. He enjoyed singing and listening to music, but most of all he adored his nieces and nephews. Michael is survived by his mother, Donna Gugins; siblings: Charles (Gweneth) Gugins, Sandra (Stanford) Roberts, Donna (Gary) Wall, Kimberly Kasic, and Catherine (Terry) Blevins; nephews and nieces: Dan (Amanda) Gugins, Don Roberts, Dave (Donna) Roberts, Jeff (Angel) Roberts, Dennis Wall, Shelly (Chad) Schloss, Nickie Gugins , Jerry Blevins, Jr., Jayson (Liz) Blevins, and Jacob Blevins; and many great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Gugins. The family would like to give special thanks to Sue Shier and the staff at Standish Home for their continuous comfort and care of Michael. A funeral service will take place at 11am on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at COATS FUNERAL HOME – WATERFORD. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10am. Interment at Christian Memorial Cemetery.
