of Rochester Hills, formerly of Waterford, passed away Monday, November 26, 2018 at 82 years of age. Born March 5, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio, son to Merlin Joseph I and Della Doran. Beloved husband of Barb for 57 years; dearest father of Marilyn (Pat) Fleming, Merlin III (Shannon) Doran, the late Daniel Doran, Barbie (Chris) Zimmerman and Jeff (Stacey) Doran, proud grandfather of 11, great grandfather of 2. Merlin was involved with the Boy Scouts for many years. He was also a very active member of the Knights of Columbus in Clarkston. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking.
