of Lapeer, passed away January 12, 2018 at 84 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Daneen; loving father of Edward ( the late Toni) Isom and Tom (Mertie Boldt) Isom and former daughter in law Bonnie Isom; proud grandfather of 11; great grandfather of 25; brother of Vernon (Joanne) Isom, Jesse 'J.T.' (Pat) Isom, Obalee Sebo and the late Marie Bailey. Merle retired from Waterford Water in 1999 after over 27 frac12; years of service and a 15 year volunteer firefighter. Merle was all about family, friends, taking walks and fishing up north.
