BARRETT, MELLANY DAWN, age 53, of Pontiac, passed away August 29, 2023. She was born on July 13, 1970, in Royal Oak, Michigan, daughter to Donald (Christine) Blalock and Kristin (Dennis) O'Donnell. Loving mother of Presianna (Rolland) Wilson, Alexis Barrett, Chelsea Barrett and Shane Barrett; proud grandmother of Alivia and Legend; dear sister of Don (Robin) Blalock. Mellany was a dedicated nurse working in private homecare for many years. She was a spontaneous person who loved walking and being outside in nature, but she cherished her time with her family above all. A graveside service will be held at Cadillac East Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan at a later date to be determined.
