CORDELL, MELBA (nee Humphrey) of Clarkston, passed away March 15, 2021 at 55 years of age; born in Pontiac, Michigan to loving parents Festus Carl and Melba Maxine Humphrey (nee Burns); dear mother of Rockie (Sean) Stamps and Douglas (Sondra Smith) Cordell; grandmother of Madison, Adam, Isaiah Stamps; sister of Theresa (Bruce) Olsen and Karen (Jim) Lidgard. Melba met her beloved husband Robert Cordell 39 years ago at the drive-in and the rest is history; they both wed on December 16th, 1982. A worship leader at Faith Community Church, she enjoyed playing guitar and loved listening to the Beatles and Christian rock music. When Melba wasn't spoiling her grandchildren, she enjoyed fishing at Morgan Lake. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
