RICHARD, MAURICE "RICK" of Waterford, passed away May 2, 2023 at 90 years of age. Loving companion and husband of Ellen (nee Wheeler) since 1985; father of Rock and Kelly Richard; step father of Sheryl (Richard) Parsons and Sean (Michelle) Johnson; grandfather of 5; brother of Ellen Zacradelli; preceded in death by 12 siblings. Rick retired in 1995 from GM after 25 years of service. He was a people person, never hesitated to help or give to someone in need. Easy going, he enjoyed long drives; flea markets; garage sales; antiques; and a nice big plate of pasta. A child of the Depression, he was a resourceful person who was in harmony with animals and nature. No one will ever take his place. Funeral service will be Monday, May 8, 2023 at 12 PM at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, 38425 Garfield Rd, Clinton Twp. Family will receive friends Sunday 4-8 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD, 3141 Sashabaw Rd, Waterford.
