of Waterford, passed away May 8, 2019 at 36 years of age. Loving father of Mateo and Zayden Mercado; cherished son of Antonio and Nilsa Mercado; brother of Alex (Tom Jacob) Cintron, David Cintron, and Jeremiah Mercado; grandson of Juan and Virginia Miranda; uncle of Sinon, Aliyah, and Britne. Also survived by the mothers of his children, Jennifer Harrington and Amber Biggs. Preceded in death by grandparents Porfirio and Carmen Mercado. Matt was a 2001 graduate of Waterford Kettering. He was outstanding athlete and MVP in football for several seasons. Matt will be remembered for his passion; sense of humor; and love of gardening. He was a great son, brother, and father, and always addressed his challenges with God. His smile and presence will always and forever be missed by family and friends.
