MEINECKE, MATTHEW L. "MATT" of Clarkston, passed away May 7, 2021 at 26 years of age. Loving son of David and Robin (nee Staley) Meinecke; dear brother of D.J. and Jake Meinecke; uncle of Landon, Rylee, and Bentley; grandson of Elna and the late Robert Staley, David (Geraldine) Meinecke, and Linda (Robert) Toczek; survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Matt was a 2012 graduate of Waterford Kettering High School. Matt was working for Pro-Shield in Wixom and enrolled in science engineering classes on line. Matt was devoted to his family and actively helping raise his niece and nephews. He enjoyed kayaking; Clinton River clean up; four wheeling; dirt bikes; NASCAR; and spending time up north. Matt was a true inspiration to his family. His generous smile and caring nature will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Contributions to the family would be greatly appreciated.
