WALLACE, MARY E. of Clarkston, went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2023 at 97 years of age. Loving wife of the late Leon Wallace; cherished mother of Earl (the late Mary) Wallace and Michael (Shelly) Wallace; grandmother of Robert (Rose), Elizabeth (George Salem), James (Tracey), Amy, Megan, Nicole (Josh Miller), Christopher (Lydia), and the late Charles; great grandmother of 14; great great grandmother of 2 with one on the way; preceded in death by sisters, Margaret Martin and Emma Barcley. Born in Kentucky, Mary would raise her family in Michigan and retire from Ford Motor Co. in 1990 after over 17 years of service as seamstress for Lincoln seat covers. She was a long time member of Oakland Woods Community Church.  She enjoyed fabric painting, cross stitching, and sewing. A care giver by nature, Mary was always helpful, and a little feisty for her five foot frame. She spent her 97th birthday surrounded by her loving family on July 1 and her warm, caring smile will be forever missed. Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 10 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-CLARKSTON, 8909 Dixie Hwy, Clarkston. Family will receive friends Monday 4-8 PM.
