of Waterford, born Dec. 25, 1914, passed peacefully on July 18, 2015 at 100 years and 7 months of age. She was born and raised in Harrisburg, Illinois. Loving wife of the late Al Butler and Gene Thompson. Dear mother of Kay (Don) Marietta of Clarkston. Devoted grandmother of Shane (Monique) Marietta and Brett Marietta. Great grandmother of Tyler and Chloe Marietta. Dear sister of the late Lowden and the late Willard Perkins. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was loved and will be missed by many. Mrs. Thompson worked in retailing for more than 30 years serving at Arthurrsquo;s, Eatonrsquo;s, Bloomfield Fashion and R amp; Brsquo;s. She was an excellent cook, homemaker and devoted much of her time and funds to her many charitable organizations including, B.P.O.E. #810 Ladies Auxiliary, F.O.E. Airie #1230, V.F.W. ndash; Pontiac Post #886, and Pontiac Moose Lodge #182.
