THARP, MARY LEE, age 63 of Pontiac, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022. She was born July 30, 1959 in Pontiac to the late Bill and Nina Tharp. Mary enjoyed crafting, gardening and boating. She will be remembered for her generous heart and welcoming nature to all her friends and loved ones. Mary is survived by her son, Steven (Destiny) Sprague; granddaughter, Mariley; siblings: Joe (Vicki) Tharp and Jerry (Mary) Tharp; six nieces and nephews; five grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by brothers: James Tharp and Jeff Tharp. A funeral service will take place at 11am on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at COATS FUNERAL HOME – CLARKSTON. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 5-9pm and again on Saturday, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10am. Interment at Perry Mt. Park Cemetery in Pontiac. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to Gift of Life in honor of Mary.
