KEEN, MARY ANNABELLE, of Davisburg, MI passed away April 19, 2021 at 82 years of age. Born February 21, 1939 in Watervliet, Michigan raised in Ypsilanti Michigan, daughter of the late Charles Henry and Edith Hilda Barney (nee Steel); beloved wife of Ronald Keen for 57 wonderful years; cherished mother of Ronald (Lisa) Keen II and Robert (Sara) Keen; proud grandmother of Kaitlyn, Natalie, Cameron, and Nysaa; dearest sister of Richard Barney and the late Carol Moore. Mary graduated from Ypsilanti High School in 1957. She was hardworking and ambitious; after receiving her bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Michigan she went on to teach in the Farmington public school district for 47 years. While coaching cheerleading, Mary met the love of her life Ronald on the Farmington football field and 2 weeks later they were married. Her hobbies included: sewing, gardening, bird watching, and everything rabbits. Mary was a 4-H leader for the Davisburg Busy Bees and Oakland Youth Rabbit and Cavy Club for 43 years, teaching her children and grandchildren through the program was her passion. Most importantly, Mary loved and adored her family. A Funeral Service will take place Saturday April 24, 2021 at 11 AM at DAVISBURG CEMETERY (Davisburg Rd. at Dilley Rd. in Springfield Twp.) A visitation will take place Friday April 23, 2021 from 4-8 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME - CLARKSTON (8909 Dixie Hwy.).
