HANES, Mary Peggy Joyce, age 75 of Waterford, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023. She was born on March 10, 1948 in Pontiac, daughter of the late Marce and Peggy Schoff, Sr. Mary Peggy was an avid crafter and loved to sew, knit, and crochet. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Heather (Chris) Evans; grandson: Ryan Evans; and siblings: Marce (Linda) Schoff, Jr., Pamela Schoff, and Harold (Jackie) Schoff. She was preceded in death by both parents, and her son, Christopher Strong. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to the Michigan Humane Society in honor of Mary Peggy.
