Mary Edna Munroe

Mary Edna Munroe, of Waterford, Michigan, passed away on August 20, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on February 8, 1951, in Pontiac, Michigan, Mary was the daughter of the late Clarence Emery Howe and Thelma Pursesinger.

Mary was a woman who found great joy in bringing people together. Through her involvement with the Worship Team, she met her husband, Quintin Wilson, beginning a meaningful chapter in her life rooted in shared faith and companionship.

Above all, Mary cherished her family. She was the loving mother of Scott (Angela) and Ryan (Christina), and the proud grandmother of Crystal, Grace, Ashlyn, Tobi, Ryan, and Amber. Time spent surrounded by those she loved was especially precious to her.

Mary will also be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Ruth Parks, Judy Strickland, Vickie (Mark) Freeman, and Mike Howe. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Ron (Kathleen) Howe, Vonda Naum, Roy Howe, John Howe, and Rick Howe.

A natural host, Mary enjoyed cooking and had a special talent for planning gatherings. Whether preparing a meal, organizing a get-together, or simply making sure everyone felt welcome, she took happiness in creating opportunities for family and friends to spend time together. Her warmth and hospitality helped turn ordinary occasions into cherished memories.

Mary will be remembered for the love she shared with her family, the welcoming home and table she created, and the many gatherings made more special simply because she was there. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
