GENSMAN, MARY E. (née Wetzel) passed away September 2, 2023 at 92 years of age. Loving wife of the late John for over 50 years; cherished mother of Robin (Jim Foreman) Gensman and Brenda (Ken) Winowiecki; grandmother of Dan (Stephanie) Wray, Lindsey (Ian) Fougerousse, Ryan Winowiecki, and Molly Winowiecki; great grandmother of Logan, Jackson, and Mason; sister of Dodie Kachin; preceded in death be 6 siblings. Mary was a strong wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a knack for crafts and selling her creations in various consignment booths. Summers with the family were spent at their lake cottage in Lupton, MI and would be their retirement home boating on the lake and time with friends for many years. She will be dearly missed for sarcastic and sassy personality and forever loved. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 11:30 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-CLARKSTON, 8909 Dixie Hwy. Burial follows Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.  Family will receive friends Wednesday 10:30 AM until time of service.
