FARQUHARSON, MARY E. of Southfield went to be with her Lord on January 12, 2021 at 90 years of age. Loving wife of the late Charles; dear mother of Kathleen (Robert) Yaroch, Joseph (Mary) Farquharson, the late Carolyn Wood, the late Paul Farquharson, Susan (Dan) Hayes, Timothy (Barbara) Farquharson, Amy (Martin) Filiatrault, Kevin (Kathy) Farquharson, John (Lynn) Farquharson, and David Farquharson; grandmother of 18; preceded in death by 1 grandchild; great grandmother of several; sister of Francis Weber, Richard (Linda) Weber, and Ralph (Mary) Weber. Mary was a faithful servant of the Lord and an active member of the Salvation Army Church in Farmington Hills, where she taught Sunday school and was involved in church activities. She was pleasant to everyone around her with a gift of hospitality; inclusive and kind to strangers; enjoyed swimming and water aerobics. She lived by her motto, "Happiness is a choice". Today she sits with Jesus singing her favorite song to him, "Jesus Loves Me". Her warm and pleasant smile will be dearly missed by family and friends for years.
