of Pontiac, went home to be with her Savior, November 29, 2015 at 93 years of age. Born February 1, 1922 in Nelsonville, Ohio the daughter of the late Charlie and the late Mabel. Loving mother of Sherry (Jim) Newbanks, Gregory (Rose) Drinkwater and the late Bradley Drinkwater; dearest grandmother of 5 and great grandmother of 8; dear sister of the late Betty Hoyt. Mary Jo is also preceded in death by her former husband Edward 'Scotty' Drinkwater. Mrs. Drinkwater retired from the Pontiac Board of Education after many years of service.
