DONNELLY, MARY REED, age 61 of Waterford MI, passed away on March 12, 2021. She was born in Detroit, MI on February 23, 1960. Mary was dedicated to her work at the Waterford Senior Center where her deeply caring nature touched enumerable people's lives. She was an avid reader, gardener and an amazing cook. More than anything, she loved being a mother and grandmother. Mary is survived by loving parents James and Anne Harnden; her deeply devoted husband of 41 years, Patrick; children: Kyle (Adrea) Donnelly, Chris (Lori) Donnelly, and Caitlyn Donnelly; grandchildren: Kaden Donnelly, Alex Donnelly, and Rayna Donnelly; siblings: Katy Keegan and Tom Harnden; cats: Onyx and Topaz. She was preceded in death by brother, Carter Harnden, whose loss she mourned for the remainder of her life. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 2-5pm at COATS FUNERAL HOME - WATERFORD. Due to pandemic restrictions only 25 guests are allowed in the funeral home at a time and masks are required for entry, thank you for your cooperation and understanding. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's honor can be made to the Waterford Senior Center Meals on Wheels Program or the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), both of which were causes that were important to her in life.
