CUTAJAR, MARY ELLEN, age 87, of Waterford, passed away on January 10, 2020. She was born on April 26, 1933 in Troy, Michigan to parents Harvey Calvin and Siegrid Sarah McEvers (nee Heavener); beloved mother of Laura Parker, Gail Little, and Charles Cutajar; proud grandmother of Norman (Kristen) Parker, Janet Holser, John Little, Jennifer Hawthorne, and Jeffrey Parker; cherished great grandmother of the late Tyler, Jordan, Logan, Jane, Rose, Lucy, Isabella, Sawyer, Elijah, Boyden, Asher, Emery, and Elana; dearest sister of Joan Combs and the late Larry (Flora) McEvers. Mary was considered a second mom to everyone and all were always welcome. Her two refrigerators were always full and invited guests around the clock to share a good meal, laughs, and great all-around entertainment. The outdoors was where she wanted to be; growing up in Waterford on Elizabeth Lake seemed to be the perfect place for her and her family. She loved to dance; swim; canoe; drink wine; and make good use of her green thumb. Music was a big part of her life and she frequented concerts; Elvis 4 times and her last concert with her daughter was Kenny Loggins at Pine Knob. Mary's bold and lively spirit will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and community. Service will be Live on Coats Funeral Home Facebook at time of the service.
