COX, MARY ELLEN of Waterford (Drayton Plains) passed away July 1, 2020 at 84 years of age. Loving mother of Shellianne (David) Baldwin, Stewart (Brenda) Cox, Jr., Sheila Cox, Sandy (Mark) McGregor, Shirley Clowes, and Steve (Michelle) Cox; grandmother of William Jr., Robert, Daniel, Stewart Glenn, Christopher, Michael, Morgan, Joshua, Heather, Melissa, Gavin, Jeremy, Glenn, and Theresa; great grandmother of 14 with 1 great great on the way; sister of Geraldine (Don) Seeterlin, James (Jerry) Morse, Ken Morse; preceded in death by siblings and spouses, Robert (Jeanette) Morse, William (Jean) Morse, Evelyn (Jack) Craven, Richard (Barb) Morse, and Virginia (Ray) Hampshire. MaryEllen was a 1953 graduate of Waterford Township High School and worked in the nursing profession for 25 years retiring from Oakland County Medical Care Facility. She was an avid reader; enjoyed gardening; word search puzzles; and spending time with The Red Hat Society. But her pride and joy was her family, especially her grandchildren.
