of Waterford, passed away June 22, 2019 at 87 years of age. Loving husband of the late Faye; dear father of Debbie (Dave) Mick and Michael (Kathleen) McCarty; granddad of Sean (Christina), Ryan (Renee), Michael, Jr., JP, and Dylan; great granddad of Logan, Liam, Isabella, and Abigail. Preceded in death by 5 brothers and 2 sisters, and his precious dog, Shamus. Mick was a veteran of the US Navy-Korea and he retired from Pontiac Motors in 1992 after 43 years of service; a lifelong member of the NRA; member of the Oakland County Sportsmen's Club and Royal Pontiac Club of America. He loved hot rods, drag racing, and street racing. Always loved showing off his cars and he especially loved to talk with everyone. He was well known along the Dixie Hwy corridor. A special member of Jennelli's Salon, Burke Lumber, and Coats Funeral Home to name only a few. Above all else, Mick loved his family. A wonderful husband, amazing father, granddad, and solely dedicated to their wellbeing. His presence will forever be missed.
