Martha Jane Limbaugh (nee Stanley), 89 years of age of Clarkston, Michigan passed away August 8, 2023. Born on January 8, 1934 the daughter of the late Jonathan and Hettie (Deel) Stanley. She was a longtime resident of Oakland County and a member of Marimont Community Church. She retired from Birmingham Schools as a bus driver for 33 years. She also served as Deputy Chaplain at Oakland County Jail for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands: Harvey Lawrence Viers and Jerry Donald Limbaugh; sisters: Edna, Polly, Bertha and Gertrude; brothers: Grover, Graden, Jess, and Clarence; and grandson Jeremy Haggard.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons: Ron (Judy) Owens of Brown City, MI and Joel (Lorraine) Viers of Lapeer, MI; daughter, Majoria (Jerry) Haggard of Eastpointe, MI; step-daughters: Cindi (Noa) Torres, Candi (Hector) Gonzalez; step-son, John (Lori) Phebus.

Also survived by grandchildren: Kimberley (Ron) Rhode, Jonathan (Julie) Owens, Tonya (Ryan) Ratajczak, Matthew (Erin) Viers, David (Jolien) Haggard, and Sandra Haggard; step-grandchildren: Dina Torres, KC Torres, and Victoria Gonzalez; great grandchildren: Ethan, Luke, Hope, Samantha, Emilee, Andy, Anthony, Laura, Walker, Riley, Delaney, Jacob, Olivia, Klara, Corbin, Brenden, Jordyn, Josiah, Dakota, Neo, and Kairo; three great-great grandchildren: Grayson, Aiden, and Leelynd.

The family would like to give special thanks to friend and care provider Janice Milimaki and to Marlette Hospice Center of Marlette, MI.

A funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Marimont Community Church, 424 W. Walton Blvd. Pontiac, MI. Family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10am. Interment to follow at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, MI.
