"Marty" of Pontiac, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday June 9, 2019 at 72 years of age. Born in Pontiac, Michigan the beloved daughter of the late George and Mary Baker. Dearest sister of Gary (Jeanne) Baker, Mary (Al) Welzen, the late Marvin (the late Delores) Baker and the late Barbara Baker; loving friend of Linda (Kirk) Hamilton. Also survived by the love of her life, her cat Katie, her 8 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews and 6 great great nieces and nephews. Marty was a graduate of Waterford Kettering High School Class of 1965 and also a graduate of Evangel Bible College. She retired from North Oakland Medical Center (Doctors Hospital and Pontiac General) after many years of service. Her faith was very important to her and was a long time member of Auburn Hills Christian Center. Marty was known for being a social butterfly, for crocheting and her love of reading.
