STAPLETON, MARK C. of Clarkston, passed away October 12, 2022 at 67 years of age. Loving father of Heidi (Raymond) Dubiel and Matt Stapleton; grandfather of Joscelyn, Abigail, and Jacob; brother of Jeff Stapleton and Nadine (Wolfgang) Liewald; uncle of several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Doris (nee Allen) Stapleton. Mark was a 1972 graduate of Clarkston High School. He was a licensed contractor by trade for over 30 years. An athlete in high school, he enjoyed playing basketball; riding his bike; and high school sports events. He was an active and loving grandfather to his grandchildren and a regular with a group of guys at Tim Horton's for a senior coffee from only the "freshest pot". He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Celebration of his life will be held Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 2-5 PM at Clarkston Lakes Clubhouse, 4260 Dogwood, Clarkston.
