ROBACK, MARK THOMAS, age 67, of Waterford, passed away on April 17, 2023; born in Utica, New York on June 6, 1955, to parents the late Francis John and Almeda May Roback (Nee Mahoney); cherished husband of Jo Roback (Nee Gurk) together for 12 wonderful years; loving father of Jason (Heather) Roback, Sunshine Roback, Jessica (Jayson) Jaques, Amanda (Dustin) Costa and step father of Beth Aldrich and Nicole Wielkerwicz; proud grandfather of Kayla (Mike) Anthes, Michael Norman, Gabriel (Haley) Roback, Lana Roback, Austin Lalond, William Jaques, Audrey Jaques and great grandfather of Isabella Anthes, Jackson Anthes, Dylan Anthes, Elijah Anthes and Ariella Roback; brother of Jean Canaguier, Jim Canaguier, Bill Canaguier, Richard (Evelyn) Roback, and Matt Roback; dearest friend of Joe and Sharon Ferguson, Jeff and Mary Watkins. Mark proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked for 27 years until he retired from Williams International in Walled Lake. He met the love of his life Jo at the Wheels clubhouse, and they were married on September 14, 2017. In his free time, Mark loved to ride his Harley. He loved when he was surrounded by his family and friends; he was an excellent cook and enjoyed making food for them. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 4pm at the Forbidden Wheels clubhouse 11546 Grand River Brighton, Michigan 48116.
