BENNETT, MARGARET A. (née Jones) passed away August 22, 2023 at 83 years of age. Loving wife of the late David "Jim" Bennett; dearest mother of Mark (Peggy) Hardy, Brenda (John) Love, and the late Karen Doemer; grandmother of 5; great grandmother of 1; sister of James Jones, and the late Dr. David Jones. Margaret was born in Anderson, Indiana to parents Kilbreth and Ruby (née Hale) Jones. She would earn a bachelor's degree from Purdue University and a master's degree from Eastern Michigan University majoring in home economics. Margaret would teach home economics in Romulus and in Pennsylvania, she believed and knew that home economics was her passion and her calling. She was a skilled seamstress; a devoted grandmother; a great cook; and still managed to read a good book. She loved her family and would do anything for them. She will be forever missed and always loved. A celebration of her life will be Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 3-8 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-CLARKSTON, 8909 Dixie Hwy.
