BOWERS, MARCUS JR. of Waterford; passed away on November 18, 2022 at 95 years of age. Loving father of Randall (late Elizabeth) Bowers, Phillip (Denise) Bowers, Mark (Debra) Bowers, and Julie (Don) Johnson; dearest grandfather of eight; and great grandfather of twelve. Marcus was born November 4, 1927 in Quapaw, OK to the late Marcus and Frances (Marsh) Bowers Sr. Marcus joined the Navy after graduating from Pontiac High School in 1945 and was stationed in the Philippines aboard the USS PGM-16. After returning from the Navy, Marcus joined General Motors where he graduated from trade school and retired after a long career in Pontiac. An avid hunter, fisherman, bowler and golfer, Marcus was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Juanita (Colegrove) Bowers. Marcus will be missed deeply by his family and friends. A private family service will be held and Marcus will be buried at Crescent Hills Cemetery in Waterford.
