LARKIN, LUTHER "STAN" of Waterford, passed away May 6, 2023 at 89 years of age. Loving husband of the late Patricia for 54 years; dear father of Bob (Brenda) Larkin and Tom (Tanya) Larkin; grandfather of Kimberly, Joshua (Tracy), Brianna, and Rebecca; brother of Wilma (Clark) Parisean, David (Jackie) Larkin, Jim (Susan) Larkin, and Daniel (Kathy) Larkin, and the late Leo (Mary) Larkin. Stan was a veteran of the US Navy and retired in 1988 as postmaster of the Drayton Plains Post Office after 32 years of service. He was a lifetime member of Christ Lutheran Church in Waterford. An all sports man, he played golf and softball; was the biggest fan at all his grandchildren's games; U of M fan; and avid gardener. Stan was dearly loved for his sense of humor, for the love he had for family, and especially for his love and care of his adored wife, Pat. Funeral service will be Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 11 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Family will receive friends Wednesday 4-8 PM. Private burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
