RICHLEY, LUCILLE BEATRICE, of Waterford, passed away February 4, 2020 at 91 years of age. Born May 4, 1928 in Arcadia, Michigan; daughter of the late Theodore and Ida Manke; beloved wife of 71 years to Walter Richley; loving mother of Brenda (Greg) Marshall and Brian (Donella) Richley; proud grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 12; predeceased by her 8 siblings; many treasured nieces and nephews. Lucille attended County Normal to receive her teaching certificate, after which she completed her under graduate degree at Wayne State University. She continued her studies earning a Master of Education degree at Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan. She loving and diligently taught young children for 40 years, primarily at Pine Knob Elementary school in Clarkston. Lucille and Walter enjoyed traveling with family and friends to many parts of the world after their retirement. In addition she enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crafting, often with friends. But the most important things to her were her faith and her family and she showed that in countless ways. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lutheran World Relief.
