KEIF, LOWELL T. of Waterford, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on  November 3, 2023 at 89 years of age. Loving husband of Betty (née Newsum) for 68 years; dear father of Fred (Wendy) Keif and Tina Garner; grandfather of Freeman (Theresa), Stacey (David), Andrew (Dani), and the late Rachel; great grandfather of many; brother of Clare (Maxine) Keif, the late Harry (Kathleen) Keif, and the late Larry (Cleo) Keif; brother in law of Jerry Newsum, Alice Barrett, and the late Jim (Rosemary) Newsum; uncle to many nieces and nephews. Lowell retired from Fisher Body with over 30 years of service. He enjoyed fishing; gardening; and crossword puzzles. In his own wood shop, he enjoyed building birdhouses, cedar chests, and quilt racks. Many days were spent walking his dog in Dodge Park #4 and resting on a bench engraved with their names, "Lowell and Tanner."  He will be dearly missed by his loving family. Funeral service will be Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 1 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD, Burial follows at Ottawa Park Cemetery, Clarkston. Family will receive friends Wednesday 4-8 PM.
