Loving wife of the late John Hammond for 47 years; beloved mother of four sons, Terry (Thelma), Mike (Cindy), Rocky, and Randy (Cathey) Hammond; grandmother of Steve Hammond, Patty Weir, Elaina Newcomb, Joshua and Ray Hammond; great grandmother of Amanda, Chase, Blake, Audrey, Gabriel, Catalin, Nathan, Ryan and Sean; sister of Lucille Stieve, Virginia May, Dorthy Bertetti, Millard, Charles, and Causby Hankins. Louise retired from the fashionable Lions Store in 1988 after 20 years of service. She was noted for her baking and cooking, especially her pies; loved her winters in Florida, but most importantly, she was a loving wife, mother and adoring grandmother.
