MAZZARO, Louis Joseph, age 85 of Waterford, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021. He was born on January 21, 1936 in Detroit to parents Emmacolato and Maria (Pedalino) Mazzaro. Lou worked as a mechanical engineer and he also served in the US Army Reserves. He was an avid model train aficionado. Lou will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Ruth (Connarn) Mazzaro; sons: Thomas (Michelle) Mazzaro and Kenneth (Elaine) Mazzaro; grandson, Dane Mazzaro; brother: Jerome Mazzaro; sister-in-law, Sylvia Mazzaro; 11 nieces and nephews; 14 great-nieces and nephews; and six great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents; first wife, Anna Mae Schultz; siblings: Carmela New, Angeline LaMontagne, and Rocko Mazzaro. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to the Servants of Mary - Servite Sisters (7400 Military Ave., Omaha, NE 68134) in honor of Lou.
