WILCOX, LOREN LEE, age 87, of Waterford, passed away November 24, 2022. He was born on January 14, 1935, in Pontiac, Michigan, son to the late Floyd and Eleanor Wilcox (nee Dardy). Loving husband of Cheryl for 32 years; dear father of Allen (Donna) Wilcox, David (Tiffany) Wilcox, Deneb (Patrick) Wilcox, Heidi (Steve) Walling and Monte (Karen) Bertram; proud grandfather of 12, great grandfather of 12; dear brother of Ralph Wilcox. Loren was a proud Navy Veteran, he graduated from the University of Michigan, and went on to work for General Motors for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Detroit Rose Society. Loren was a member of the Waypoint Church in Clarkston. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022, 11:00 AM at Coats Funeral Home- Clarkston, 8909 Dixie Highway. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan, at a later date. Memorial donations in Loren's name may be made to the Waypoint Church.
