MARKS, LLOYD WILLIS, age 91 of Rose City, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023. He was born on January 8, 1932 in Bad Axe to the late John R. and Marion E. (Howard) Marks. Lloyd proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. He lived in Rose City since 1992, formerly from Waterford. He was a dedicated husband and father and cherished his family more than anything in the world. Lloyd will be lovingly remembered by his children: Denise (Dennis) Bristow of Clarkston, Steven (Josephine) Marks of Elmira, Laurene (Daniel) Blower of Clarkston, and Sandra (Greg) LaFond of White Lake; grandchildren: Wendy, Denny, Jr., Danny, Rachel, Nicholas, Sarah, Erica, Jennifer, Sharon, Kevin, Paul, Steven, Brian, and Christopher; 13 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Carmen J. Marks, in 2022, and sister, Eleanor (the late Lonnie) Davis. A Celebration of Life for both Lloyd and Carmen will be held at a later date followed by inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, make memorial donations to Heart to Heart Hospice in honor of Lloyd.
