LESSENTHIEN, LIONEL HENRY GEORGE JR., age 91, of Waterford, passed away February 1, 2023. He was born on July 17, 1931, in Summit, New Jersey, son to the late Lionel Henry George and Edith Lessenthien. Loving husband of Janice for 65 years; dear father of Sharan Peters, Laura Lessenthien and Lee (Cheryl) Lessenthien; proud grandfather of Evan Lessenthien, Rachell (Ethan McCracken) Peters, Eric Peters and Irene Lessenthien. Lionel served his country in the United States Army. He worked and retired from the Henkel Company. Lionel was a longtime member of the Birmingham Men's Club and was also active with the Chapter 19 Veterans of America. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023, 10:30 AM at All Saints Cemetery.
