NICELY, LINDA LEE, age 76 of Waterford, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023. She was born on June 13, 1947 in Pontiac to late parents Clarence and Esther (Schoff) Farnsworth. Linda was a talented quilter and enjoyed all kinds of different crafts and doing puzzles. She also loved shopping, especially at various thrift stores and garage sales. Linda enjoyed spending time on the computer and watching TV – most often she was catching up on Facebook and watching American Idol or other singing competitions. She was a wonderful and loving wife, beloved mother, cherished grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt. Linda is survived by her husband of 50 years, Dennis Nicely; children: Connie Meacham and Troy Meacham; grandchildren: Danielle (Tim), Heather (Josh), Tia, Miranda (Brian), Angel, and Xyliana; great grandchildren: Timmy, Emily, Robbie, Connor, Dylan, Vanessa, Raelynn, Annalise, Brooklynn, and Charleigh; siblings: Sally Scott-Grassi and Larry (Kathryn) Farnsworth; and several nieces, nephews and special niece, Jill (Perry) Harden, and extended family. She was preceded in death by siblings: Charles Farnsworth, Ernie Farnsworth, and Shirley Harding. A funeral service will take place at 11am on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at COATS FUNERAL HOME – WATERFORD. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023 from 4-6pm.
