KASAT, LINDA J. of Waterford, passed away July 1, 2022 at 76 years of age. Loving mother of Shelly (Jeff) Lane, Katarin (Martin) Legg, the late David and the late Michael LaPoint; grandmother of 13; great grandmother of 21; sister of Raymond Trusler. She leaves behind her precious cats, Hawkeye and Polly.  Preceded in death by her friend and former husband David Kasat and 4 siblings. Linda retired from The Oakland Press in distribution after 25 years of devoted service. She also worked as a legal secretary, Sunday school secretary for St. Stephen Lutheran Church. Extremely intelligent and competitive, Linda was an avid reader; Jeopardy fanatic; a whiz at cards and Trivial Pursuit; for light fun, bingo; and would go in debt to feed the animals and birds in her yard. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her. A visitation will be Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 4-8 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Burial at a later date at Ottawa Park Cemetery, Clarkston
