ARANOWSKI, Lillian Lou (LIL), of Oxford Michigan, passed away peacefully March 30, 2024, at 73 years of age. She was born on May 19, 1950, in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of the late Stacey and Mary Lou Ellis (nee Valentine). Loving wife of the late Marvin, beloved mother of Mary Lou (David H.) Knight, dear stepmother to James (Michelle) Aranowski and Jeff (Kelly) Aranowski; proud grandmother to PJ (Amy), Jordan, Megan, Matthew, Michael, Carson, and Trevor; proud great-grandmother to Reagan and Jacob; dear sister of Dean (Margaret) Ellis, Stacie Ellis and Marlene Dahl. Lil worked at Chrysler for many years and several other jobs after retirement, including janitorial work at Oxford High School. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, crafting, spending time with family and spending time with her dogs. Lil enjoyed volunteering at her church, Mt. Zion, assisting with the children's ministry program. Lil was also a puppy raiser for Leader Dogs for the Blind, the puppy she raised was selected to be duel trained for a blind and deaf client. Lil's love and dedication will be missed by her family, friends, and community. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined.
