pborn and raised in South Haven, MI; lifelong resident of Waterford, MI; born August 5, 1948; passed away May 2, 2017; after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Les, as those who loved and knew him as, leaves behind a loving and cherished wife, Julia; 6 children, Angela (Michael) Miley, Karl (Rebecca), Aaron, Nicole, Brandon (Jennifer) Shefferly, and Brigette; and 8 grandchildren, Maxwell, Miranda, Abbey, Andrew, Erika, Gabriella, Kylie, and Tyler. Les is also survived by his siblings, Richard (Mary), Cheryl (Rick) Dutcher, Edward (Kathy), and Jeffrey; and numerous nieces and nephews. No matter where Les went, he befriended someone. He was 'one of a kind'.
