MYERS, LEONA S. (nee Fisher) of Waterford, passed away September 23, 2022 at 101 years of age. Loving wife of the late John C. Myers, Jr.; dear mother of Mike Myers, Marianne Myers, Barbara (Michael) Pruchnicki, and the late Janet Bancroft; grandmother of Geoffrey Bancroft; great grandmother of Nathan and Christopher. Leona graduated from Mercy College in nursing and was  a registered nurse for over 30 years at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac. For many years she enjoyed bowling; golfing after her retirement; playing cards with church friends; and puzzles. She was a dynamic and formidable woman who was loved for her feisty personality until the end. Well loved by all who knew her knew her. Funeral service will be held Monday, September 26, 2022 at 11 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Burial follows at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Pontiac.
