WALTERS, LARRY EUGENE, of Clarkston, passed away on December 13, 2021 at the age of 81. Larry was born on August 28, 1940 in Ironton, Ohio to the parents Jim and Goldie (Mahelia) Walters. Larry is survived by his cherished wife, Geraldine; his children, Larry "Dave" (Heather) Walters, Terry (Laura) Walters, Richard (Heather) Walters; his step-children, Brian Rutherford, Matthew (Siobhan) Rutherford, and Michael Rutherford; several grandchildren, Alicia, Hailey, Sierra, Alexis, Zach, Sydney, Michael, Amber, Dylan, and Leah as well as several great-grandchildren. Larry retired from General Motors after 34 years. Larry was also a member of the AARP and UAW Local 653. In his free time Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. Larry loved the Detroit Pistons and watching Ohio State games. The family will accept visitors beginning at 4pm Wednesday, December 15th  until 8pm at COATS FUNERAL HOME- WATERFORD. A funeral service will be held in honor of Larry on Thursday December 16th 2021 at 11AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Larry was loved by many and will be missed deeply. Interment to take place at Christian Memorial Cemetery following the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Michigan, 25200 Telegraph Rd. Southfield, MI 48033.
