Kathryn A Tooman, 69, of Clarkston was reunited with the love of her life (Patrick) on February 20, 2023. Kathryn was born to Richard and Shirley (Davidson) Potvin on March 7, 1953. She was diagnosed with ALS, and after 3 years succumbed to this disease. Kathryn was a lifelong resident of Michigan. Born in Detroit, later moving to Keego Harbor, and finally making a permanent home in Clarkston, Kathryn loved the varied treasures and seasons that Michigan offers its residents. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Gary, husband of 36 years, Patrick, and is survived by their daughter Laura and her husband Bradley. She loved spending time with family and spending time with her daughter.

Kathryn was a very bright and vibrant woman with many eclectic tastes and interests. She was a lover of art and her interests covered several medians. She also had a great fondness for nature and Native American art and their culture. She believed her spirit animal was the wolf and loved hawks. Kathryn enjoyed spending summers at her cottage on Torch River, and wintering in the sunshine of Florida. With an endless search for knowledge and appreciation for cultures, she loved to travel and had been to many places around the country and world.

Kathryn was always trying to find ways to give back and enjoyed donating to many charities, one of great fondness is Grace Centers of Hope and in lieu of flowers, donations to Grace Centers of Hope or ALS of Michigan are encouraged.
