Preceded by Parents Robert and Margaret McClure and brother Warren McClure. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Kathryn was inducted into the National Water Ski Hall of Fame in 1987 being recognized as the first woman to water ski in the st1:country-region w:st="on"U.S.st1:country-region on st1:place w:st="on"st1:placename w:st="on"Union/st1:placename st1:placetype w:st="on"Lake/st1:placetype/st1:place in 1924. She graduated from st1:placename w:st="on"Royal Oak/st1:placename st1:placetype w:st="on"High School/st1:placetype in 1927 and then attended st1:place w:st="on"st1:placename w:st="on"Highland Park/st1:placename st1:placetype w:st="on"Junior College/st1:placetype/st1:place.
