KLAUS, KARL JOSEPH, of Grand Blanc, Michigan passed away January 17, 2020 at 58 years of age. Born January 7th, 1962 in Mount Clemens, Michigan; son of William Francis Klaus Sr. and the late Charmaine Gwendolyn Klaus nee Schreech; loving father of Elizabeth (John) Savage and Rachel Wright; proud grandfather of Blake Wright, Anthony Savage, Aiden Wright, Elaina Wright, Kyle Savage and Lillian Savage; survived by sisters Adrienne (Phillip) Keränen and Kathryn (Michael Ford) Klaus and predeceased by brother William F. (Janice) Klaus II; had many treasured nieces and nephews. Karl graduated from Kettering High School in 1981. Soon after graduating he signed up for the United States Army and proudly served his country at Fort Riley, Kansas. Following the service, Karl came back to Michigan to be close to his parents and start a family. He loved riding motorcycles and proudly owned a Suzuki Volusia 800. Most importantly, Karl enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
