OHANNESIAN, KAREN MARGERY, age 53, passed away on October 9, 2021. She was born on June 2, 1968 in Dearborn to parents James A. Waite and Phyllis Reddy. Karen received her Associate's Degree in Nursing from Henry Ford College and worked for Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care in the call center as a triage nurse which she loved with a passion. On February 3, 1996 Karen met the love of her life, Frank, whom she married on April 2, 2004. On August 27, 2004 their daughter Mikayla was born. Anyone that knew Karen knew Mikayla, she was incredibly proud of her daughter. Karen loved the outdoors, visiting parks and beaches, and swimming. She was an avid concertgoer and especially enjoyed seeing The Grateful Dead, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and the Rolling Stones. Karen will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Frank; daughter, Mikayla; Brother-in-Law Kevin (Colleen) Ohannesian; cousins: George Waite, Misty (Joe) Elliott-Walsh and daughter Madisyn, Joanne Bedore-Faubert, Mary-Katherine McHale; Aunt Mary Ellen and late husband Sam Mekled; and sister Shelley (Carl) Youngerman. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Cousin Lorne Waite, Uncle Jerry Waite, and many other relatives and friends. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place.
