VIHONSKY, KAREN L. (nee Mahon) of Waterford, passed away May 22, 2022 at 67 years of age. Loving wife of George for 35 years; dear sister of Nancy (Mike) Warrick; aunt of Warren, Steve, Jennifer, and Michael; step mother of David (Lori) Vihonsky, Christopher (Sara) Vihonsky and the late George V. Vihonsky; grandmother of Julie and Emily; great grandmother of Scarlett; sister in law of Irene (Ray) Kiel and the late Marie Vihonsky. Karen was born in Pontiac to loving parents Frank and Doris Mahon. She was a 1972 graduate Waterford Township High School. She was a receptionist and cashier for Merrill Lynch for many years. She enjoyed reading and camping with George in their fifth wheel. An avid dog lover, especially her precious Abby, Karen was soft spoken, loving, and sweet with a smile that lit up her face. If she liked you, you felt it with her presence and her hugs. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. A funeral service will be Friday, May 27, 2022 at 10 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Interment at Ottawa Park Cemetery, Clarkston. Family will receive friends Thursday 4-8 PM.
