GATES, KAREN ANN, age 77, of Waterford, passed away June 24, 2022. She was born on September 17, 1944, in Pontiac, Michigan, daughter of the late Gael and Garnet Hogan (nee Acha). Loving husband of Ralph for 58 wonderful years. Dear mother of Ralph, Lori, and Jeff (Gay); dear cousin of Pat Norberg. Karen was a huge Detroit Tigers fan. She enjoyed reading, playing games on her iPad, casino bus trips and planting flowers. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, 12:00 Noon at Coats Funeral Home-Waterford. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Interment Ottawa Park Cemetery in Clarkston, Michigan. Memorial donations in Karen's name may be made to Lourdes Nursing Home. Kindly keep Karen and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
