SIDEBOTTOM, JULIA MARIE passed away on Sunday April 10, 2022 at 70 years of age. She was born in Highland Park, Michigan on March 26, 1952 to loving parents Joseph Dennison and Elsie Louise Beckham (nee Feddern). After graduating high school, Julia went on to receive her Bachelor of Social work at Madonna University. She met the love of her life Jerry Davis and they spent 30 wonderful years together. Julia was forced into early retirement while working as a social worker and activity's director at a nursing home due to some health complications. Even with the life she was given, Julia had such tenacity along with a bigger than life personally. In her free time, she enjoyed crafts, was a quilt extraordinaire, singing and playing every instrument, and most importantly she was a woman of great faith and attended Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church. Julia is predeceased by both parents and 4 of her seven siblings; survived by partner Jerry Davis; children: Elizabeth (Nick) Salinis of Warren, Michigan and Sarah Sumpter of Warren, Michigan; sisters: Deborah (Joseph) Timson of Grawn, Michigan, and Carol (Larry) Dustin of White Lake, Michigan; grandchildren: Emily Salinis, Nicholas Salinis, Clyde Sumpter, Lorelei Sumpter, and Seth Sumpter. A funeral mass will be Wednesday April 13, 2022 at 11 AM at OUR LADY OF THE LAKES CATHOLIC CHURCH – WATERFORD (5495 Dixie Hwy). Instate 10AM.
