JEWELL, JUDTIH E. (née Tanner) of Waterford, passed away surrounded by her loving children on October 1, 2025 at 87 years of age. Loving wife of the late Larry Jewell for 51 years; beloved mother of Michael Jewell, the late Kathleen (Brian) Pement, Kenneth (Laura) Jewell, Debra (David) Mann, Diana Sherrod, and James (Debbie) Jewell; grandmother, "GG" of Shelby, Matthew, Jessica (Kyle), Alexander (Lauren), Barbara (Matt), Sherrie, Dayna, Rebecca (Aaron), Ryan (Jamie), Noah, Dylan, and Ryan; great grandmother of 16; great great grandmother of 1; dear sister of the late Gordon Tanner; and survived by her best friend and maid honor, Hazel. Judith was born in Pontiac, Michigan to Cecil and Fern (née Hart) Tanner in 1938. She retired from St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in medical records after over 25 years of dedicated service. A loving and devoted wife and mother, Judith loved her Bingo. She and Larry, and later with her best friend Hazel, would never miss an opportunity to play. She was an active member of Waterford Senior Citizens; enjoyed jigsaw puzzles; euchre; country music; and Elvis Presley. We will forever miss her. Funeral service will be held Monday, October 6, 2025 at 12 noon at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Burial follows at Ottawa Park Cemetery, Clarkston.
